Frank A. Lujan, 62, of Las Cruces, died Monday, April 30, 2012. Pancho as he was fondly known was born August 23, 1949 in Las Cruces to Santiago and Corina Apodaca Lujan. He had been a salesman for L&P building Supply with more than 30 years of faithful service. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, playing pool, sports, horse shoes, dancing and drawing, but his passion was for his family. Frank will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Geri Lujan of the family home; sons Frank Lujan Jr. and Javier Lujan both of Las Cruces; daughter Victoria Harvell and husband Brock of Las Cruces; brothers Robert Lujan and wife Virginia and Jimmy Lujan and wife Debra all of Las Cruces; sisters Stella Barreras and husband Alex and Linda Gomez and husband Steve all of Las Cruces; grandchildren Sarra, Isaiah, Larry and Jayme and by great-grandchildren Zeric, Joseph, Leland and Gavin. Frank is also survived by his extended family Rick Gamboa and wife Samantha, Naomi Gamboa, Danny Gamboa and wife Shaundale, Kris Gamboa and wife Gina, Marie Gamboa and Josh Rogers. He was preceded in death by his daughter Paulette Lujan and by his parents. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 pm. Frank’s funeral mass is at 10 am on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. The honor of being a pallbearer goes to Frank’s family and friends.
